ReinerStop continues to build momentum entering the height of show season. Their mission of reaching more people and providing access to horse related information began humbly with a goal of reaching 100,000 people. Show Time premiered in 2021, and they quickly reached that mark after just the first episode.

This year’s first ReinerStop Show Time episode, held at the Cactus Reining Classic, acquired over 2 million impressions, further skyrocketing them beyond their initial goal. Now entering a two month Show Time event series, they are looking to capitalize on this momentum and engage even more people in the horse industry.

“Reining is becoming a household name, yet there are misunderstandings about how the judging and scoring really works. This is why we created ReinerStop Show Time, to help even the most green spectator have an NFL-like sporting experience. As an exhibitor myself, the skills and tools I have learned from Show Time have given me a huge advantage.” – Sheley Brien, Founder of ReinerStop

What fascinates people about ReinerStop Show Time? It could be the expert judges panel shedding light on the scoring. Super Bowl style programming brings the audience slow motion reviews, graphic overlays, and open discussions about scoring, penalties, and the future of reining. The giveaways are an added perk, but what really drives viewers is the refreshing combination of education and entertainment provided by the panelists and hosts. Show Time is now available free to viewers with a simple email sign-up, thanks to ReinerStop sponsors.

“Horses have impacted every aspect of my life. They’ve seen me through hard times, they’ve taught me how to love and be loved in return, and they’ve given me career opportunities beyond my imagination. Reining is a sport built on objective scoring, grit and control. The more ReinerStop can use modern media to bring honesty and integrity to the sport, the greater the chances that others will get involved: take lessons, buy a horse, attend a show. It’s all about connecting horses and humans.” – Chelsea Sutton, ReinerStop Partner & Reining Announcer

Reining is a visceral, adrenaline-pumping sport that requires passionate people with hearts set on growth and improvement. Reining has the chance to engage fans at every level. This is what ReinerStop brings to the table: passion, enthusiasm, fun, and access to experts.

Show Time coverage featuring the Reining By The Bay Derby streamed live Monday, July 25.  Coverage highlighted the top runs, including explanation of the winning run with Andrea Fappani and All Bettss Are Off, a hose owned by Rancho Oso Rio (photo provided by High Cotton Promotions). On demand viewing is available for two weeks. As Reining by the Bay expires, ReinerStop will cover the season’s first major futurity at The North American Reining Stakes, held this year in Ocala, Florida.

E039 Overcoming Obstacles: Don't Sell Your Saddle

Overcoming Obstacles: Don't Sell Your Saddle

IN THIS EPISODE

Spreading Hope & Inspiration

Overcoming challenges is something we all have to face in life. We can let those obstacles limit our growth and level of success or we can seek ways to overcome them and live the life to the fullest.

All three of our guests have faced very different health situations with grit and determination. Their stories will inspire and encourage you to meet your circumstances head on and do what it takes rise victorious.

If you are feeling discouraged and are low on hope—this episode is for you!

Samantha Smith:

Daughter of Lance and Terry Griffin, Samantha grew up in Calgary, AB, Canada. Before discovering reining, she and her parents were successful in the team penning arena. After riding her first reiner, she was hooked and has since reached the highest levels of success in the Non Pro reining world.

From a distance, it may have looked easy, but her road has been filled with debilitating back and neck pain, numerous surgeries, and the determination to overcome. She would ultimately face the frightening question: Will I ever ride again?

Alexis Mann:

Being different from birth comes with certain challenges. Being born into a horse family where hard work and learning to answer these challenges head on was the bedrock of Alexis’ upbringing. Amniotic band syndrome was the cause of Alexis being born without a left hand. Her parents made sure it was never an excuse to not be able to do something. It also gives her a different definition of challenging.

Learning to ride a reiner successfully? She’s no different than anyone else: lessons, persistence, and finding the right horse. Learning to put her hair in a ponytail…well that’s sometimes the bigger challenge.

Sheley Brien:

Sheley was bit by the horse bug at a young age. The problem was she wasn’t from a horse family. Through trial and error they brought Sheley into the horse world with lessons and horses that may not have been ideal. But getting bucked off more than she stayed on taught her valuable lessons that would help her when the world went dark.

One morning, at the age of 24, she woke up with no sight in her left eye. There was no warning and there would be no cure. Facing her new life, she had a choice to make: be a victim of her circumstances or be a victor from her circumstances. You can guess which choice she made.

NEWS: ReinerStop Show Time Offers Free Viewing for Cactus Reining Classic and Run For A Million Qualifier

ReinerStop Show Time Offers Free Viewing for Early Subscribers of Cactus Reining Classic and Run For A Million Qualifier

Scottsdale, AZ, USA, March 2022

Show Time goes beyond commentary to build comprehensive understanding of reining with dynamic visual graphics paired with play-by-play maneuver breakdowns.

Scottsdale, AZ, USA

Not only is ReinerStop Show Time expanding to include the Cactus Reining Classic Open Derby and The Run for A Million qualifier, they are doubling down on their mission to elevate the industry through access to valuable educational resources. For the first time, ReinerStop Show Time will be free to viewers who register prior to the start of the event. Subscribers registering after the event begins can enjoy the Show Time experience for only $10.

Chelsea Sutton, ReinerStop partner and Show Time co-host explains, “What we created with the Show Time production is unlike any other digital coverage of reining. People haven’t seen this before, so they don’t know what they’re missing! We worked as quickly as possible to make it free so that the masses could access judges’ insights and enjoy watching reining in new ways. The big vision: get this into households that have never heard about reining and inspire them to get started. Our sponsors are making that dream a reality.”

Sheley Brien, ReinerStop Show Time co-host, knows these events “will bring the fiercest competition from across the country and provide excellent educational opportunities for any level of rider. Thanks to partnerships with forward thinking teams like Brumley Management Group, LLC, ReinerStop can offer the added value of third party, no BS, educational commentary to the equine community, especially those interested in the sport of reining.”

The excitement is building as the Cactus Classic hits record numbers of entries and stalls. With added money in aged events topping $170,000, they are attracting entries from as far away as Europe for the Run For A Million qualifier.

“The Cactus Classic brings more benefits to the industry than ever before. ReinerStop coverage means fans who are interested in reining and the Run for a Million but may not be able to be here now have an opportunity to interact with the event. We couldn’t do that without ReinerStop.” – Amanda Brumley, Brumley Management Group.

What is so great about Show Time? We’ve all watched a run, cheered like crazy, and waited excitedly for the score to be announced only to be disappointed and puzzled by the “too low” score. Show Time provides answers to scoring questions by covering some of the industry’s premier events. And not just coverage with commentary, but coverage with a “Super Bowl” feel: graphic overlays, play-by-play explanations by NRHA Judges Brian Dygert & Jody Brainard, and viewer questions answered during the livestream broadcast. Then ReinerStop takes it one step further by providing continued access to the Show Time episode so subscribers can watch at their convenience as many times as they want.

Tickets for the Cactus Reining Classic Show Time episode will be available March 16 at www.ReinerStop.com.

Founded in 2012, ReinerStop is an online resource that uses the sport of reining to connect horse enthusiasts to the equine industry.
